SID-00810: Pre installation question

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.3.2 Perl version: not sure off the top of my head.
Category: CategoryInstallation Server OS: OpenSuSE 11.1 Last update: 15 years ago

I have a social networking website that I want to integrate twiki with. So basically I already have my own users table and do not wish for twiki to create its own users.

I want twiki to use my existing database of users. So basically when a user registers on my website, they should be able to utilize the twiki just fine.

Does twiki support this sort of feature? If not, can you provide a programmer to create that feature for me?

Discussion and Answer

Yes, you can integrate TWiki with external directories such as LDAP, AD, OpenID. Several integrations are available in the Plugins.Webhome web. TWikiConsultants are available if needed.
