I have created the following template based on the commentplugin and I created a
UseRatings topic for the web and used the target tag, but it shows the reviews on the same page.
In the topic that needs to be rated I add this:
%COMMENT{default=" Rate Me",type="ExtensionAppraisalPoll",target="%WEB%.UserRating"}%
Here is the OUTPUT part of the template:
%TABLE{ sort="on",tableborder="2" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="3" headerbg="#DBDDB5" headercolor="#DBDDB5" databg="#C8CB8F" headerrows="2" }%
%TMPL:DEF{OUTPUT:ExtensionAppraisalPoll}%%POS:BOTTOM%| %WEB% | %URLPARAM{"topic"}% | %WIKIUSERNAME% | %URLPARAM{"idea"}% | %URLPARAM{"design"}% | %URLPARAM{"documentation"}% | %URLPARAM{"usefulness"}% | %URLPARAM{"Comment"}% |
%TMPL:END%

Discussion and Answer
Could you please be a bit more specific? I'm not really getting the problem ...
You have created a individual template for the
CommentPlugin - does this work at all but not in the way you want or doesn't it work at all?
