Hi all, Is there an autosave setting in twiki so that we avoid to loose all the work done in case of a connection problem? Thanks.

Discussion and Answer

TWiki does not yet have an autosave feature. Page updates are stateless, which means that it is possible to save a page also if there is a connection problem between edit and save. This does not help though on a browser crash.

CheckpointSave is an alternative to auto-save, it's under control of the user (you have to remember to save). It's a "save and continue editing" approach.

We have been discussing an autosave feature. Feel free to describe your needs and spec proposal at AutoSave.
