SID-01364: Loss of Glue Plugin

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 5.1.0 Perl version:
Category: GluePlugin Server OS: Last update: 14 years ago

I wanted to send someone a reference to Glue Plugin and the documentation seems to be gone from twiki.org. Has Glue been removed from TWiki 5?

If I'm not just failing to find it, please take this as a request to put it back. Glue is my favorite plugin for making code easier to read.

While it is true that many plugins (e.g. SEARCH) now accept newlines, they still don't all accept them, or accept them at arbitrary locations. Glue allows me to write code that is broken up the way I think it should be broken up to make it easier to read for humans (e.g. in the middle of a double-quoted string).

Discussion and Answer

It always has been at Plugins.GluePlugin, and it is marked as tested to up to TWiki-5.1.
