SID-01541: Redirect Plugin and Leftbar

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: Perl version: 5.8
Category: RedirectPlugin Server OS: RH Last update: 13 years ago

We have topics with their own LeftBars that are included by WebLeftBar.

We moved some topics (and their leftbars) to another web and left behind a REDIRECT from the original web. The idea being that if a user clicks on the original URL then he would be sent to the new location.

By implementing a custom LeftBar the result of the redirection of the topic is the LeftBar page itself and not he topic.

Is there a way to have the correct beheaviour, the redirect showing the topic in the new location and its leftbar?

Discussion and Answer

It looks like the plugin has an issue with TOPIC vs BASETOPIC.
