SID-01869: default login

I have downloaded the pre-configured VM and have it powered on but I cant login to it using what I read as the default password

root changeme

ive tried any combination I can think of and cant seem to find any info on whether thats changed. Am I missing something obvious?

all i get is login incorrect. no caps lock and im 100% certain im typing it as above. Would really like to eval the product using this.

Where do you try to login with root? This should be at the console of the VMware appliance, not your browser.

Sorry I don't what I am thinking. I am not using the virtual machine. I installed directly in an Red Hat 5 Server. But I don't which credentials use
