SID-01987: email not working...

Hi,

I have installed and configured Twiki, but I am not able to create new users as it requires email to be configured. I am using google mail for SMPT but it is not working. I am getting following error when trying to reset password for user:

Can't send mail using Net::SMTP. 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. lr4sm16044956pab.42 - gsmtp

is it possible to configure "smtp.googlemail.com"

That error looks like TLS (SSH) is required for sending email through Google.

TWiki does not yet support TLS for e-mail. There is a patch however: SMTPUseTLS
