SID-02072: Compatibility of twiki 4.2 on Windows 2008

We are trying to upgrade windows server 2003 to 2008. Currently, we are using twiki 4.2 on windows server 2003. We want to know whether twiki 4.2 is compatible with windows server 2008 without version upgrade of twiki.

TWiki itself makes no difference between Windows 2003 and Windows 2008, so yes, you can run TWiki 4.2 on Windows 2008. You should also be able to run the software prerequisites (Perl, web server) without an upgrade.

How about upgrading to the latest TWiki version. If you continue running an older TWiki version I recommend to apply all the security patches. See TWikiSecurityAlerts.
