Hi!

Warning : I am new to this!

I am trying to set up a knowledge base. In this knowledge base i want to have different objects : Project, Rule, Methodology, Benchmark... I want each topic to be one of these objects.

I want to be able to identify my topics in two different ways : - it's name : TurbineImprovementProject or BladeStressRatioRule - And a reference : Project0256 or Rule0025

What is the most elegant way to do that in a Twiki?

My preference would be to keep the name as the Topic name. And add a Form in which a value is automatically incremented. is it possible?

Yes, a TWikiForms -based application is the best approach for a knowledge base.

Possibly turn that around? Generate the topic name automatically, and use a "Title" form field for a descriptive title, as we have here on this support forum application.
