SID-02123: Cpu utilization is high

when i give a top command on my Twiki box i could see the 100% of CPU utilization.Almost all CPU consumed by WWW user performing activities.

can you please suggest is there any fine tunning for cpu utilization on Twiki application.

Also how can we find out who is the original user who has been logged in with WWW id since we could see n number of users with WWW id.

Discussion and Answer

CGI programs operate in burst mode. You need to have enough memory, and a recently new CPU. See TWikiScalability.

The webserver serving pages is different from the user using TWiki. If you use template login see cgisess_* files in twiki/working/tmp for actual users.
