Has anyone done skype/chat integration within TWiki?

If so are there any plug-in's? Any help would would be greatly appreciated

An instant messaging application would be a useful enhancement for TWiki. There is no integration for TWiki at this time as far as I know.

As for implementation, it could be done as a TWiki specific instant messaging application, or an integration with an existing instant messaging protocol, such as Wikipedia:XMPP. As for UI, a convenient place would be a status bar at the bottom like in FB or Gmail.

In the spirit of supporting open source software you could hire one of the TWikiConsultants to create an integration for organization.
