Hi,
I have recently installed TWiki into a Solaris 11 box (without root but we have sudo access as well as a service account for apache, we have an External Hosting Service).
It wasn't easy but I got it working and when I tried to create my first test article in the sandbox and save it I got an
RCS error. I don't believe
RCS is installed and it is unlikely I can install it. So I googled and found an old article that Peter Thoeny had suggested changing $TWiki::cfg{StoreImpl} = 'RcsLight';
However I now cannot access the TWiki and get this error:
TWiki::Store::RcsLight compile failed Can't locate TWiki/Store/RcsLight.pm in
@INC
(you may need to install the TWiki::Store::RcsLight module) (
@INC

I have the location listed in my inc
(
@INC
contains: .../perl/bin/.../twiki/lib/TWiki/Store/
and the
RcsLight.pm file is there with the correct permissions on the service account.
Thanks kindly for any help

Discussion and Answer
I think I have discovered the issue is due to the perl install locally.

For others finding this page: TWiki can't find the library because it is not in the Perl lib path. Setting the absolute TWiki lib path in
$twikiLibPath in
twiki/bin/LocalLib.cfg should fix it.
