Question

I was trying to add some security to my twiki site by restricting access to the configure script. I ran the ApacheConfigGenerator, generated the code for Twiki.conf and restricted access to specific ip address. However, when I check it is still possible to access configure from any machine. I have limited server skills, any ideas on how I address this issue ?

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x02x02
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Linux
Web server: Apache
Perl version:
Client OS:
Web Browser: IE5
Categories: Security

Did you restart the server after making the changes? Apache reads its configuration only on startup and not for every request.

Thanks for your comment Harald but yes I did restart the server. Any other thoughts?

Can you attach your conf file(s) to this topic?
