Question

A recent failed search for

how to
caused me to say "Oh right; there's a stoplist".

(The search succeeds when I bother to wrap the words in quotes,

"how to"
This is not a query about how to find my "how to" pages. :-)

Where is the stoplist stored? Can I look at it easily? Or do I need server access?

Look at TWiki.TWikiPreferences#Search_Settings. And yes, "how" and "to" are mentioned smile

!PostScriptum: I found that TWiki.SearchHelp has an explanation for the stop words and where they can be found, and claims that you can search for how and to by typing +how and +to. I would not have known that, but just in case....
