Question

my twiki application is running very slow sometimes when saving a topic and renaming a web etc.

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x00x00
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin,Wysigwygplugin
Server OS: Windows cygwin
Web server: Apache1.3
Perl version: Perl-5.8.7-4 (Cygwin)
Client OS: windows2000
Web Browser: IE
Categories: Performance

My Twiki application is running too slow. I read somewhere by using mod_perl we can improve fastness. but i am using Cygwin. For mod_perl is it must to install ActiveState Perl?. Without Activestate perl is it possible to i can use mod_perl?. Help me regarding this.

Go and read the advice linked from CategoryCookbook on running mod_perl with Cygwin. I'm sure someone has managed to get it to work.
