Question

I have a web with view access restricted to myself and other employees. I have view access and am in TWikiAdminGroup, and eg. my boss has view access. The access control seems to work fine but neither me nor my boss can view the diff pages and previous revisions. It says "view access denied" even for me in the admin group...

• Perl version: 5.6.1
• Web server & version: apache 1.3.27-1.7.2
• Server OS: Redhat 7.3
• Web browser & version: Mozilla 1.3, Opera 6.0
• Client OS: Redhat 7.3

Similar problem for me (using TWikiRelease01Feb2003 on SuSE 7.2 with Perl 5.8.0): I can see previous versions, but no diffs. Is diff on restricted Webs working for anybody?

Answer

Please apply patch in DiffsFunctionDoesNotAuthenticateProperly. Reopen this request in case it does not solve the problem.
