Question

When using WebSearch to search all webs, the search results include an entry from every web (even if none of the topics inside the web meet the search criteria). For example: When 'foo' is searched in all public webs, the results will include the webs and topics that include 'foo' (which is good) but also every other web with "Number of topics: 0" for the total matches. I am using the KoalaSkin but experience the same phenomenon with no skin. I would like to have only relevant search results displayed.

Environment

Server OS: Redhat Linux 7.2
Web server: Apache 1.3

Web Browser: Firefox, Konqueror and Internet Explorer

Answer

my first thought for a solution is to make your own searchformat, or that possibly noheader="on". I don't think there is a direct solution though

see http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/TWiki/TWikiVariables#SEARCH_text_search_content

Recent TWikiBetaReleases fixed that. Webs that have no hits are excluded.
