Question

I've gotten TWiki installed and ALMOST running in this config. The configure script says everything is fine. When I browse to http://myhost/twiki/bin/view, I get the ubiquitous "The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers." error.

Strangely, if I manually invoke view[.pl] in the bin directory and redirect the output to foo.html, I can load the resulting file just fine!

I've scanned the support / install pages as fully as I can -- and after 2 days of this, I gotta surrender.

I'm limited by my IT environment -- it's gotta be this combo, VMware isn't a viable solution.

Ideas where to look now?

Like so many before me ... I've surrendered on this configuration. I'm going to run a clandestine site with Linux and hope IT doesn't find it ... sigh.

In general, I think that claims of support on Windows should be clearly caveated w.r.t. the use of "all things Windows" throughout this site -- as clearly nobody has successfully (or at least with well-known repeatable steps) made it work!
