What is going on in the Library?

The Library is being renovated to better meet the needs of 
the Georgia State University community. When the 
transformation is complete, students, staff, and faculty will 
have access to state-of-the-art technology, more group study 
space, a learning commons, and a coffee shop. 

Why is the entrance to Library North closed?

As part of the University Library Transformation renovation 
project, the entrance and first two floors of Library North 
closed August 4, 2006, and will remain closed until early 
2007. 

How do I enter the Library?

Enter the Library through Library South, next to the General 
Classroom Building. 

Where do I check out books? 

Check out all materials, including GIL Express items, 
interlibrary loan, reserve, and media materials from the 
Circulation Desk on Library South 2. 

Where is the Reference Desk? 

The Reference collection, computers, and Reference Desk 
are located on Library North 3.
