Accepted By 7 Day Feedback Period
This is part of the decision making process of the
TWikiCommunity, and structures the way new feature proposals are handled. A feature proposal gets a green light to check into the repository after 7 days if:
- The specification has been written
- A developer commits to implementing the feature
- Concerns against the feature or its spec raised by other community members have been resolved
The purpose of the 7 day feedback period is to make it easy and quick for developers to add new features. And it also creates an incentive for the community to participate in the conversation. If people agree, either by silence or consensus, the feature or spec is accepted.
Check-ins may be reverted by community members if they do not meet the quality standard or do not follow the release process.
