- An TWikiApplication is defined inside a specific web normally as a collection of topics, forms, templates, attachments and settings
- An application web is a "bundle" containing solely that web
In order to use an application web you either need to:
- Merge namespaces & preferences
- Merge preferences and use the keep the namespaces/etc separate
- Manually merge in the settings, topic, forms, templates, etc
The last of these is the method currently available (There's always more options...). Keeping namespaces separate via
include preferences would allow better separation of
TWiki applications from data, simplifies distribution & upgrades. (eg each skin would then gain a separate web, simplifying their upgrade, etc)
