Review action items of previous meeting

• TWiki 4.0.2 release
  • Release notes for TWiki4. All merged bugs are marked "Waiting for merge". CDot suggests notes are generated from those.
  • Pattern skin needs testing fast. Arthur goes on vacation in 1.5 days.
  • Sven will do the build and release.
• Doc actions
  • twiki.org docs. Peter is to provide some instructions about how to reference Docs in SupplementalDocuments -- see instructions at the end of SupplementalDocument
• TWiki.org on Dakar
  • Peter to contact the ISP to resolve email problem from out twiki.org server. Needed to have registrations with confirmations to get less spam.
  • Peter: Create the topic in codev on dakar upgrade of twiki.org -- see TWikiOrgUpgradeToTWiki04x00
  • Upgrade all TWiki web topics to Dakar (enclosed properly in header/footer & START/ENDSECTION as documented in DistributionDocument)
    • Also there's an example in IRC log
  • Need help with on converting the distribution docs to dakar content & doc authoring format

Update on develop.twiki.org server upgrade

• Desired outcome: Understanding on timeline; define action items
• Status:
  • Order for donated server by Fastservers.net is placed (thanks a bunch JeffLink for enabling this!)
  • Donated server hardware is ready
  • TWiki.org home page is updated with link to sponsor
• Progress is tracked in DevelopTWikiOrgUpgrade2006

• Peter donated every month $100 for 3 years now, time to cancel subscribtion

TWiki 4.0.2 release status

• Desired outcome: Assign remaining tasks; confirm 22 Mar 2006 release date of TWikiRelease04x00x02

• Only very few open bugs that are marked patch
  • Bugs:Item1921: (Requirement) Merging 3part duplicates the text screwing up the page
    • all that's required is (1) a test case and (2) a sober CDot
  • Bugs:Item1787: (Requirement) I18N: Translation updates for 4.0.2 / new PatternSkin
    • Run translation script, send e-mail to translation authors.
  • Bugs:Item1920: (Normal) Hide form twisty gives poor usability for TWiki apps that use the form
    • Remove the twisty on forms for 4.0.2.
      • Suggestion: 4.1 to hide the form in view if there are no visible fields
    • Arthur will make a cookbook
    • Arthur asks for help on the configurable part, CDot has an idea
  • patch==bug fixes, minor==new features, agreement on 4.0.2 for version number
  • Bugs:Item1896: Skin fallback not working
    • Needed because of view
    • May break plugins
    • Although Peter objects against reversal of his fix, he accepts current solution as temporary for 4.0.2 (in favour of release date)
