Action Item Review

Current beta release blockers

• Bugs:Item4535, and
• Bugs:Item4534 - both are TMCE related where links point to the edit script.
• Bugs:Item4048 because we do not want a CVE note of being ignoring security issues
• Bugs:Item4523 - need to discuss solution
  • Will try to see whatbreaks if we encode > < and ".
• Bugs:Item4537 - Kenneth fixes quickly. Few minutes work.
• Bugs:Item4536 - beta testers will want that Edit Raw button.
• Release note - Kenneth is already more than half way. One more day!

1. Review Urgent Bugs

• Desired outcome: Find owners to fix urgent bugs

• Bugs:Item4048 - EditTablePlugin: Password in URL params after template login - we have problems reproducing it. Need feedback from Rafael.
• Bugs:Item4576 - Too many mail dependencies - New. - Koen will disable emailing if web master email is not defined.
• Bugs:Item4511 - Need user-friendly, accessible doc for WYSIWYG - Carlo does a one pager. See TinyMCEQuickHelp
• Bugs:Item4522 - IE "Zones" must be documented as a potential WYSIWYG "gotcha"
• Bugs:Item4506 - (IE only) Copy paste in TinyMCE sometimes makes the page view jump to near the top of the page - CDot will approach the moxicode team to probe for a fix.
• Bugs:Item4590 - Rename "Checkpoint" to "Save and Continue" - Need to agree on this.
• Bugs:Item4598 - JUMP and SEARCH scripts no longer works - FIXED.
• Bugs:Item4523 - You can add all sorts of scripting via URL and get it shown on any topic with URLPARAM - Need to revive discussion

2. Coordinate TWiki Release 4.2

• Desired outcome: Decide on tentative dates for string freeze and other dates; identify and assign action items

• Beta release: NOW
• String freeze date: String updates should be limited to absolute necessary. TMCE and Save and Continue as already accepted.
• Code freeze date: will branch off TWikiRelease04x02 on SVN for first beta
• Earliest release date: RC1 in two weeks. Release in 4 weeks.
• Must do before any release: Update release note (Kenneth will do - DONE for beta release), review one more time Bugs:TWiki.TWikiInstallation and Bugs:TWiki.TWikiUpgradeGuide. If people raise bugs Kenneth will fix.

3. Test Coverage Discussion

• Desired outcome: identification of test hard to test TWiki features, and commitment to testing them CC
• Do not want a long technical discussion about testing
