Has been failing for longer than there has been a 4.2.0 release. The problem is, this also means that there have been no successfully created nightly build packages for testers to try out for the 4.2.1 patch release. Unless there is a positive commitment from someone to fix it, I (SvenDowideit) propose that we disable it in the 4.2.0 release branch, so that the automated test builds can go on.

It would of course be much better if we find some Perl UTF8 support - but until we do, I am not sure that we are gaining by blocking release builds from completing. -- SvenDowideit

I think this is a genuine bug; I strongly suspect it's the cause of TWikibug:Item5457. It would be really good if someone could fix this for 4.2.1 -- CrawfordCurrie - 31 Mar 2008

Conclusion: Turn off test case until bug is fixed (4.2 branch only)

2. Feature requests for Georgetown Release

• Desired outcome: Discuss and decide on pending feature request that need attention

Because there is no commitment from anyone to resolve Bugs:Item5118. This bug has been open since December and was accepted open at 4.2.0 provided it was fixed in 4.2.1. This bug gates even talking about a release date. Who steps up to solving this bug of all these fine developers on this project? (asks Kenneth)

3. Decide on date for TWiki Summit in Berlin

• Desired outcome: Decide on date of TWikiCommunitySummitBerlin2008Q3; discuss venue

The date is set for 4-5 September.
