Feature Proposal: Automatically highlight recent changes in a twiki page
Motivation
People returning to a twiki web site may need to know which pages and sections of text have been updated recently. The history mechanism is useful to examine changes in detail but not to discover at a glance if there were changes e.g. in the last 10 days. This can be a problem when the twiki page contains directions for a particular task or activity. The user that already read the page needs only to be updated about recent changes and this is difficult to do if one has to read all text.
Description and Documentation
This would be much similar to the revision history but comparing a revision n days ago with the current version. The page should look the same as the normal pages for the sake of readability. A tag NEW or UPDATED could appear next to all links to new or updated pages. The updated, inserted text should be highlighted e.g. in yellow. For what regards the old/deleted text there could be a link OLD or DELETED to the old paragraph if one wants to compare in detail what was changed.
