1. Feature Requests for Istanbul Release

• Desired outcome: Discuss and decide on pending feature request that need attention
• See TWikiFeatureProposals

• AddSetGetPluginToCoreDistribution - the SetGetPlugin is now part of core
• ParameterizedVariables - PTh added the docs of the feature Chris Lahti implemented
• BackupRestoreUtility - PTh will resume work soon, critical for 5.1 release
• RollbackAttachmentVersion - Pete Jones - plan to checkout on server to temp space and check in again
• DiffAttachments - Pete Jones - limit the diff to set of attachment types, or use rcs returns "binary files differ" to determine if diff can be shown or not
• VarHIDE - PTh, now accepted by 7 day feedback period - %HIDE{ ...... }% will hide the enclosed text when viewing the page
• Lots of activity on plugins, in last two weeks these extensions have been updated: SetGetPlugin, SpreadSheetPlugin, LaTeXToMathMLPlugin, KwikiToTWikiAddOn, ContactDbAddOn, JSPwikiToTWikiAddOn, GoogleSearchPlugin, GpgkeyPlugin, NavBarAddOn
• NavBarAddOn - complete rewrite, navbar can be embedded in skin header
• SetGetPlugin - now optionally can save variables persistently, e.g. you can set a variable in one topic and read later in another
