The edit control (widget in unixese) on the bug reporting page (for example) that accepts a new wiki topic will not accept a wiki name formed with "[ [" and "] ]". For consistancy with other places that accept text (like an edit window

), it should accept an "[ [" Elegant Wiki Link "] ]". (
NB: The spaces between the square brackets are to prevent their interpretation as wiki topic brackets.)

The "beautify feature" of typing
[[coffee break]] to get a link that looks like
coffee break and links to
DevOpinionPoll is just a convenient way to show text nicely. When you
create a free floating topic in the "Go" field you are probably aware of the topic name you want to create. Does it make sense to offer the "beautify" syntax in the "Go" field? I am not so sure about that. Opinions?
I changed the classification from
BugReport to
FeatureBrainstorming since this is not a bug

While I might be aware of the name I want to create, if it has spaces in it, then I can't make that choice.
I would point out that this feature is good for several reasons:
One man's bug is another man's feature
