• It was suggested that the TWiki.org redesign becomes a task team under new governance. It may also be worth having a champion for each web for daily maintenance.

5. Brainstorming for Ideas

• RichMorin Googled for MediaWiki and TWiki and got several hits of the form "How do I migrate from TWiki to MediaWiki?". TWiki is structured, programmable, and has access permissions, but MediaWiki has "buzz". Perhaps we should add a comparison of TWiki vs MediaWiki on twiki.org.
• RichMorin reports that one of the main objections he got to TWiki (by an operator at a former company) was that it doesn't have an RPM archive. Couldn't this be built automagically?
• RichMorin would like there to be a TWiki "speaker registry" where folks could mention their availability to talk about (specific aspects of) TWiki. For example, Rich would like to find a speaker to talk about the plugin architecture for the SF Perl Mongers.

• It was suggested to improve the ComparisonOfMediaWikiToTWiki. The wiki matrix comparison is too generic and does not faviour the obvious strengths TWiki has like access control and application platform.

Action items

1. MartinSeibert: Create a proposal for German TWiki Marketing Website
2. MartinSeibert: Write a suggestion on how TWiki can cooperate with Search Engine Bots without lowering the server performance.
3. MartinSeibert: Come up with set of questions for the survey in Codev before performing it.
4. PeterThoeny: Reply to will's t-shirt proposal.
5. PeterThoeny: Explain why there is a need for a registration on twiki.org. I do not want to change anything. But we have to give reasons why a registration is needed. (see this: Screenshot, Video).
6. VickiBrown: Investigate a pref setting for meta description and one for meta keywords in Blog web
