Very interesting story, will comment more when I've had time to absorb it - sounds like you have figured out
HowToGetInternalBuyInForTWiki! One minor comment is that there's a typo where it says 'larg software project'.

Thanks, typo is fixed.

Hello Peter,
excellent story!
One comment: the foundatgion date is 1983 at the beginning, and 1981 at the end.
I exeect, TWiki did not accellerate Wind River's ageing.

True. I picked one date from the Wind River web site, the other from a press release. After some digging I found this at
http://www.windriver.com/corporate/html/corpfacts.html
:
- 1981: Jerry Fiddler & David Wilner found Wind River
- 1983: Formal incorporation of Wind River Systems, Inc.

This is a very good success story, and it shows some very interesting ways of using TWiki for various applications. You mention that the webmaster's role has changed to one that shows/encourages
TWikiBestPractices. I'd love to see some of these. I use TWiki as a
Wiki:ProgrammersNotebook
, but I'd love to see some of the more advanced things that it can do. Could you post some implementation details on how you did things? I'd like to see these included in the documentation in the TWiki web.
