How to use WikiWords corporately?
A German Wikipedia user named the
WikiWord problem accurately related to as "two-humped camel".
I am evaluating a TWiki system for a knowledge management system in our company by running a TWiki prototype.
When employees edit their sites and they donīt have an overview about all topics, it is difficult for them to use correct
WikiWords for linking to other topics. The problem is to find out where is the second hump of a
WikiWord like "knowledge management system" (Is it "KnowledgeManagementSystem", "KnowledgeManagementsystem",...?). The current workflow to find the right
WikiWord is a little bit exhausting:
- 1st - search for the topic name (using "search" or "index");
- 2nd - trial and error finding the correct page within the search results, where the link should point to.
Do you have any suggestions (stricter, internal rules for
WikiWords or organisational solutions (a key user with an overview places the correct links), etc.) or experiences to handle the problem.

A
WikiWord checker would be nice, as it is used in programming languages.
By clicking at a "check" button within the edit workflow a new window opens and the "index" or "search" presents a list of topics which are likely related to the word at cursor position.

You could add a link to a popup window in the edit template, that simply shows an alphabetical list of all topics (in plain text, to make copy/paste easier).

I'd favour matching case insensitively and coerce the link written so that it matches the topics that exist. There is an edge case where the two topics could have the same spelling (differing only in case) but different meanings; this could be addressed with a convention that leaves a link to a differently worded target topic.
