Feature Proposal: WebChanges showing topic age instead of date
Motivation
When scanning over recently updated topics in
WebChanges it is useful to assess how old the changes are. For example, I know that the last time I checked was 6 hours ago. Instead of subtracting date and time, it is easier to see the topic age.
I have done this here on TWiki.org in
WebChangesForAllWebs. Age is shown in minutes, hours, days, month or year.
Description and Documentation
Change
WebChanges to show the time since last topic update. For example, instead of
2013-09-10 21:46 show

We are in the Pacific Time Zone. When I make a change, the go to
WebChanges, the header correctly reflects my current time and says (-0800). But, all of the ages are off by those eight hours. In other words, changes made a few minutes ago show up as eight hours old. Is there something else I need to set?

Steve, please ask support questions in the
Support web, stating TWiki version and other details.

Can this behavior be made configurable? I rather preferred seeing the date/time of the last revision, rather than having the age calculated for me.

Barry, you can submit a new feature request. TWiki is open source software, it increases the odds of implementation if you either provide a patch or sponsor the work.
