• Comment: I'm trying to decide if TWiki will be useful for me on a purely personal basis. I work for a large Acronymic company, and I'm sure it won't be useful at work due to NIH thinking. Actually, it turns out there are a few individuals within the company who have noticed twiki, but it's regarding as a competing product. Oops!

Back after a looong absence! Installed Sep 02 release and things seem to be working (after installing a couple of patches)... Trying to convince my fellow amateur astronomers to build a collaborative site about astronomy in general and our local activities in particular, supplementing our main web site which is glacially slow to change (or in these days of global warming, is that an obsolete simile?).

Personal Preferences (details in TWikiVariables)

• Horizontal size of text edit box:
  • Set EDITBOXWIDTH = 140
• Vertical size of text edit box:
  • Set EDITBOXHEIGHT = 17
• Style of text edit box. width: 99% for full window width (default), width: auto to disable.
  • Set EDITBOXSTYLE = width: 99%
• Optionally write protect your home page: (set it to your WikiName)
