Personal Preferences (details in TWikiVariables)

Note: 92,30 for my IE5 setup; 74,24 for my Mandrake 7.2 konqueror setup; 66,24 for my Mandrake 8.1 setup (15 pt. Courier); 60,24 for my Mandrake 8.2 setup (14 pt. Courier??), now (5/15/03 to height 22 for konqueror 3.1 on Mandrake 9.1) — I should test out the new TWiki preference setting based on percent of (page) width. I might actually be using that, I'm sure my lines are longer than 50 characters — yes, they are 60+ — not sure why the following setting is not effective. Hmm, it's been a while since I wrote the previous note, but today it seems like my edit box is only 50 characters wide, which is a little (at least) on the narrow side. I won't change it immediately.

  • Horizontal size of text edit box:
    • Set EDITBOXWIDTH = 50
  • Vertical size of text edit box:
    • Set EDITBOXHEIGHT = 22
  • Default state of the link check box in the attach file page:
    • Set ATTACHLINKBOX =
  • Optionally write protect your home page: (set it to your WikiName)
    • Set ALLOWTOPICCHANGE =

To disable the TWiki.PatternSkin (TWiki's new look, including the left hand column): Either set to the classic skin or use the LowRes.css which puts the bar on the right.

Reminder: Make sure there are no spaces at the end of the variable definitions (esp. USERLAYOUTURL)
