We are a small internet company scrambling to get a product
out. I installed twiki here as a collaboration and documentation tool.
My main idea was to use it to solve something I call the "Publishing Problem". Repeatedly, I have written The Definitive Essay on some technical or business problem, such as
HowToAddFortunes, then been unable to publish it so that the appropriate people could read it when they needed it. Twiki has solved this problem handily for us on the engineering side. I am no longer the most frequent contributor to it, which gratifies me more than anything.
A couple of days ago I gave a lunchtime seminar on wikis, the Wiki Way, and twiki in particular to my colleagues. I have high hopes that it will prove as useful on the business/marketing/planning side as it has so far on the technical side.
