TWiki Success Story of Tempest Security Technologies
Tempest Security Technologies
is a business unit of CESAR (Recife's Center For Advanced Systems and Studies, www.cesar.org.br) specializing in information and computer security.
We run TWiki internally for almost everything we do: creating vulnerability and technical documentation knowledgebases, keeping track of activities and time spent (we are contribuiting the
TicketWiki concept for this), project tracking and even everyday management tasks (expense reports, field reports, commercial proposal development).
We are astonished with the power of the Wiki concept and how well it can be applied to so many aspects of our work. TWiki's implementation is robust, reliable, very well written and, when we're done with our security audit of the code, we'll add to that: "resistant to known application level vulnerabilities". We are even considering using TWiki as our public website.
We are so enthusiastic about TWiki that we even grant access to some of our clients, so they can participate in the projects we have in common. It has greatly improved our communcation and workflow -- everyone knows what everyone else did and is doing. Using client certificates, we can have strong encryption and authentication, allowing us to make the service avaliable to remote clients and our "road warrior" staff.
Congratulations to
PeterThoeny and all contributors for this splendid tool.
