Very nice! This looks like a powerful extension for TWiki, very much in line with the
TWikiMission. Thank you very much for sharing this Plugin with the
TWikiCommunity.

I am trying to understand how Mason Components are different from TWiki Plugins. Both allow you to run something written using arbitrary perl code from a tag in the topic.

Thanks, Peter
Thomas, TWiki plugins add some feature to twiki, and Mason components, as used by MasonPlugin, can map some functionality of an application. This way one can integrate that application to TWiki. Right now I'm working in the port of
RT
(there is one component for each micro functionality). Then people will be able to change the interface of RT as they want or need, by changing the combination of components, since it's possible to edit topics, and thus change component calls.... (which components, arguments, disposition, etc)

Hi Gilmar,
How are you progressing with the port of RT . We use both TWiki and RT internally and the integration possibilities between the two are interesting.
My perl is not very good but i would be interested in helping you with the development.
Thanks

Thanks for the update, Amadeu!
Hi Ian, sorry for the long time to answer, I'm not receiving update notifications
Actually the port of RT is frozen, cause I'm working on my graduation final project. I'll continue as soon as I can and any help will be very welcome
