Question

I believe I have found a bug within (at least) the EditTablePlugin in the current and previous versions.

See CarlGherardi under Q & D test. I'm using an older version of twiki internally, but i'll use my page for displaying the bug.

Using the link https://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Main/CarlGherardi?sortcol=3;table=2;up=0#sorted_table

ie. Sorting the table by date, using the Australian date format dd-mm-yyyy gives a table sorted only by 'dd'. Using the link above you can clearly see that neither the month or the year are sorted correctly.

10/02/2008 is undefined. In Europe it is 10 Feb 2008, in Australia it is 02 Oct 2008. So, not sorting on this date format is probably a feature, not a bug. ISO dates (Wikipedia:ISO_8601) are unambiguous, and sort properly too.

The EditTablePlugin date format doesn't appear to allow me to specify 10 Feb 2008. In the interim the ISO date format will suffice.

You can control the default date format of the EditTablePlugin. See the docs in JSCalendarContrib.
