Question

I find I cannot display a string with all capitals and a period, such as a filename. If I enter netlog.bat, it shows okay, but if I enter it in capitals (NETLOG.BAT), I only get what comes after the period, i.e. BAT. After playing with it a bit, I find that any all caps string with a period in the middle drops everything before the period in the preview. I tried FRICK.FRACK, THIS.THAT, AUTOEXEC.BAT, and got FRACK THIS BAT. What is up with this? Am I doing something wrong, is it a bug, or just something I need to live with? I notice it does not seem to happen here, but does on several TWiki sites I normally use.
