Question

I am trying to create some hidden webs in which viewing will be allowed only to users in a specific group. However, this seems to block other registered users only if I explicitly list them in the "DENYWEBVIEW". This makes things very hard to maintain, every time a new user adds themselves to my Twiki site they will have access to this page until I add their names to the DENY list. Is there some way around this?

Answer

You only need to set the ALLOWWEBVIEW setting to your group in your WebPreferences, that should block all users not in your group. Make sure that TWikiUserAuthentication is working properly before you use access restrictions.
