Question

Hi everybody,

is it possible to deny access to a web for a certain group BUT allow this group to view few topics from this denied-view web?

The order of access control evaluation is described in TWikiAccessControls. As you can see if you ALLOWTOPICVIEW then that overrides DENYWEBVIEW.

Sorry, the error you found is entirely unrelated to access control. It is a (known) bug in EditContrib, only relevant to TWiki 4.2.

It seems to be a bug in 4.1.2 too. Thanks anyway, as your suggestion at AccessRights has solved the problem.
