Question

I know this is a question with a lot of baggage, but do the NatSkin and NatSkinPlugin installers really require Perl 5.8.x? Does anyone know of any packages that are known to have dependencies, or are the authors just playing it safe because that is the platform on which it was developed?

I'm stuck on a clunky old Solaris server running 5.6.1 and lock down pretty tight. We each get a home page based on the Apache "public_html" directory, but I'm very happy say that was enough to get version 4.1.2 up and running. This skin would be a very welcome addition.

Thanks.

I don't have a perl 5.6.1 installation at hand. That's why I can't grant NatSkin/NatSkinPlugin to run on it.
