Question
I have a table with a list of tasks and the contact person for each of the tasks is entered by editing it using
EditTable plugin. Whenever I enter a username in the table that do not have edit permissions to the page itself, it throws an error saying:
Displays the error as if its an issue with version control system:
During save of file
SunilKumarPerla an error was found by the version control system. Please notify your TWiki administrator.
http://twikiserver/twiki/bin/oops/Main/SunilKumarPerla?template=oopsaccessdenied;def=topic_access;param1=in;param2=TWiki::Plugins::EditTablePlugin::Core
clicking on the above link shows:
* Access check on
SunilKumarPerla failed. Action "in": TWiki::Plugins::EditTablePlugin::Core. *
I do not see this error if
1. I am in
TWikiAdministrators group
2. I add users to the table who has change permission on this page.
3. User names in the table are not linkable (but I want to be able to click on the username in this table and go to his home/registration page)
Looks like a bug.
Thanks
Sunil

Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
Instead of having to try and guess how your topic looks like can you please add the table as well as the EDITTABLE setting that creates this problem?
Also do you actually use
EditTablePlugin or do you use the
EditRowPlugin? You have listed both.
