Question

I cant get the email system to work! i got it to allow users to be added and stuff but i can get the email system to work!. what do i have to enter into the preferences page. Could you give me an example as to how to do it.

most of the time the only thing that you need to do is configure the "Email and Proxy Server Settings" in TWikiPreferences -- SvenDowideit - 25 Jun 2004

If your issue is that TWiki won't email users (cc: %wikiwebmaster%) when they've registered, then you should check the mail settings in lib/TWiki.cfg. If your issue is that the regular (daily) mailings WebNotify of WebChanges won't work, then you should look into the cron job that would issue these mailings.
