Question
I am new to Twiki and only somewhat familiar with linux and apache. I have followed the
TWikiOnRedHat instal docs multiple times. The apache server seems to be working fine
http:/localhost
works. When I get to the step in the install doc about running configure for the 1st time type in "http://localhost/twiki/bin/confiure and my browser says
Not Found
The requested URL /twiki/bin/configure was not found on this server. Apache/2.2.3 (Fedora) Server at 137.21.7.20 Port 80
What information should I post on here for further help? The config files? Again I am still learning wikis, apache and linux but am eager to and want to learn. Please help.

Ethan look in your /var/log/httpd/error.log are you getting the following error?
[error] [client 10.0.1.22] mod_mime_magic: can't read `/var/www/html/twiki/bin/view'
[error] slurp_filename('/var/www/html/twiki/bin/view') / opening: (13) Permission denied at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi/ModPerl/RegistryCooker.pm line 540
[crit] [client 10.0.1.22] configuration error: couldn't check access. No groups file?: /twiki/bin/configure
I ask because I posted the same question under

We need as much info as possible to help.
The apache twiki config file.
The apache error_log.
Did you turn SELINUX off?
I have not yet tested
TWikiOnRedHat in FC6. I need to install an FC6 first. But I cannot believe much has changed.

Ethan, when you wrote: "When I get to the step in the install doc about running configure for the 1st time type in "http://localhost/twiki/bin/confiure and my browser says ...", you have a typpo in "configure", there is a missing "g". Could this be the problem?
