Question

The GoogleAjaxSearchPlugin allows to introduce quick google search on public Twikis. If I install Google Desktop on a Windows 2003 Sever, it would index my TWiki including the attachments. Is there a way to use this functionality on the client side? As I struggle with SearchEnginePluceneAddOn could this be an alternative?

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x00x05
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Server OS: Windows 2003 TWiki OS: VM Linux Debian
Web server: Appache 1.0
Perl version:
Client OS: Windows XP

You wouldn't be able to use GoogleAjaxSearchPlugin as is. The javascript makes calls to google.com. But you could use the same principle provided that Google Desktop results can be queried as web service. If so, TWikiAjaxContrib provides the tool set to create the interface.
