Question

Hi,

how can I hide a Web globally in the WebLeftBar even for Administrators?

I know Administrators are still able to access it, but it should just not be in the list. Setting SITEMAPLIST to off in the WebPreferences is kind of pointless if the web is still listed in the WebLeftBar.

Thanks, matsch

Rename the web to start with an underscore e.g _Myhiddenweb.

In my Twiki installation, I edited the WebLeftBar in some of my webs to prevent it from showing all the webs. For example, my Sandbox does not show the TWiki and the Main webs in the left bar.

Thanks EnriqueCadalso, that's brilliant. Hides it even from the Admin Tools list and from myself (which is good!) smile
