Question

I'm having trouble getting HtmlArea working with Twiki.

I have a base installation of twki up and running on Windows2000 with Apache.

Twiki is installed in the c:\twiki directory.

I downloaded and installed the htmlArea, and followed the prescribed chmod instructions.

I can now go to http://mydevbox/htmlarea/ and the htmlarea text editor works.

The instructions for adding it to the twiki wiki say to edit the edit.(skin).tmpl file and add the correct script. The only thing that I have is the c:\twiki\templates\edit.tmpl file, and I've tried to edit it and add the correct entries for htmlArea, but it doesn't show up in my edit pages.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is there another edit.tmpl file that I'm missing?

Thanks!

Answer

if you're using PatternSkin (you probably are, it's the default), you need to edit edit.pattern.tmpl
