I18N

I18N stands for Internationalisation, which means generic support for international languages, characters and other locale specific information.

To install TWiki with I18N, see InstallationWithI18N - and remember, if you are using European or Cyrillic languages, you should not be using UTF-8 locales. TWiki doesn't have full UnicodeSupport yet - just use ISO-8859-*, KOI8-R, or whatever, unless of course you need JapaneseAndChineseSupport.

See InternationalisationEnhancements for more information and useful links, and InternationalisationIssues for some key open issues.

Tag:internationalization and Tag:localization may be useful.
