Question

I'm trying to set up a local InterSiteLinkRules topic for my new TWiki installation, but for some reason it appears that some other arbitrary rule base (from twiki.org perhaps?) is being consulted instead. What am I missing here?

• Perl version: 5.005_03
• Web server: Apache
• Server OS: Linux
• Web browser: IE
• Client OS: Windows

Answer

The InterwikiPlugin is installed by default in the 01 Dec 2001 TWiki release. Note that the default topic for the rules is InterWikis, located in the TWiki web; it is not the InterSiteLinkRules topic as it is here on TWiki.org.

Aha! Thank you. This of course explains why the documentation clearly points to InterWikis.
