Question
Hello all,
When I do the following steps :
- I go to configure script and configure stuff
- I click "next"
- I enter the configuration password,
when I click on "Set password and save changes", the file /etc/twiki/LocaleSite.cfg is empty (it was not empty before i click) and the settings are not saved.
So it is not possible to set the configuration.
Can anybody help?
Regards.

Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
LocalSite.cfg is typically stored in the "lib" directory under the web root.

Thanks for your answer. In my Debian, it is stored in /etc/twiki.
I know where it is stored, the problem is that the modified settings are not saved and the /etc/twiki/Localsite.cfg is made empty just when I clik on "Set password and save changes"
It is almost the same problem as [ConfigurationNotBeingSaved]

Sorry, I don't have any other ideas. I've not worked with the debian pkg version of TWiki, only the tarball. Are there any errors in your server log? In the twiki configuration.log?

There is no error in the log files, may be because twiki don't know where to write log (because
LocalSite.cfg is empty). I will try the 4.2 release.
Thanks.

I close this bug because I updated twiki to 4.2.0 and I have no more the problem.
